Our potatoes are thriving, I can barely keep up with adding those extra layers of dirt! If nothing else grows I am pretty sure we will have potatoes (knocking on the wood box they live in). We tried to not do too much because both of us grew up without gardening. Well Mr. Bunny's dad did grow tomatoes in buckets... Still new to us. Still we may have done too much; we'll see. He dug me a pumpkin patch for sugar pumpkins and we have blueberries, blackberries and strawberries being used for the hedging in front of the house. Like I said there will be a lot more pictures. Never mind all our vegetables and if the sun makes an appearance we will be more confident in their continued growth. (Plus we may have planted a little too early, shh.)
The thing that makes me chuckle inside the most is I come from a long line of farmers. My dad spent some time on a farm growing up, my great grandparents were all farmers. Well the Polish great grandparents were migrant farmers but the rest of my family had acreage and that's how they made their living for generations. I here my grandmother telling me her stories in my head, or find that google confirms something her or my dad says. It's weird it just feels like it's part of me. Like some sort of farmer gene? I think that must be a real thing I swear!
On another note I haven't been able to craft much. BUT there is a stellar reason...
I was practicing driving...
because my road test was this past Saturday...
and I PASSED!!!!
This past year seems surreal, in the last twelve months we bought a home, Thing 3 started school, I completed a year of school and I got my license. I know that list is all backwards but it's the way it is. After all our struggles we are sitting here with our garden coming in outside and summer vacation on the horizon. I will be thirty at the end of it and I can't help but pat myself on the back. Mr. Bunny and I got through so much together and now we are making serious headway forward. How incredible!

That's all so awesome! When I was gardening, I found the whole process tremendously neat. I stuck plants in the ground and they grew! Have fun with it.
Im so happy for you. How do you like driving? So are you going to be a fast driver or one of those slow ones? lol My son just got a ticket for going 95 in a 70. I could choke that child. I asked him what he was thinking!!!
Love the garden. My dad and mom grew up on a farm and were big time gardeners. My dad still plants a huge one every year. Nothing better than home grown veggies.
