Welcome Summah-Time

Or the shame I bring to my children every summer; either way. Like a good middle class American who just bought a home I bought a blue pool. You've seen them, right? I think everyone has. And while the thought of an above ground pool did cross our minds Thing 3 is still too short and we just bought a house so we don't really feel like adding an unnecessary expense right now.
-First off there is NOTHING easy about these. 1,2,3 my foot. I live in New England nothing is that level anywhere here. It just isn't. Is it anywhere?
-Looking online into the prep of these things it requires sand and levels and way too much work for a blue pool during heat wave week.
-We are not spending a ton of money on sand.
-It is now filling up AGAIN and it will be what it is. I'm done trying to perfect it.
-The closest to flat we have is in our front yard. I now have a blue pool in front of my house.
It makes me think of this song

I even have flamingos. Hopefully my plants do well and I can share bounty with my neighbors who are incredibly awesome. They don't even blink when my yard is clearly meant for something in a trailerhood.

I have no crafting to share. There was an unfortunate incident with my wrist, the vacuum and stairs. It is apparently not fractured and if it is still swollen and awful next week I will go back to the doc and cry (seriously that's what they said minus the crying). Until then I am slowly trying to work my way back to crocheting and other activities. I didn't realize how much it kept me happy until I couldn't do it.

It's okay though I have a blue pool and maybe tomorrow it will have water...
How are you coping with your weather?

I'm sorry you hurt yourself! I know it's hard to take it easy, but don't overdo it too soon. Surely it will feel better before next week! I will send healing thoughts your way.
